The owner is an absolute "Crook" Never take your vehicle to this business! I went less then a year ago to purchase tires to have mounted on some new wheels. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in my life. The techs broke multiple studs on both my front wheels and damaged my vintage factory porsche rims to get them off. The oem wheels were damaged beyond repair. I then had to source and purchase my own wheel studs, lug nuts and locks as a result. The owner AJ had the nerve to charge me labor costs for the problem that his employees caused to make matters worse. After the new tires/wheels were mounted and installed over a week later, I drove my vehicle home only to realize my entire front end was shaking uncontrollably on the freeway! The new wheels needed spacers to seat properly and the shop hadn't installed or even recommended them! I had to go to Wheel and Tire Pros in Richmond the next morning to correct the issue. Now less than 1year later, Im told that 3 of the 4 tires are "Out of Round" and needed to be replaced. I purchased two new tires before I went back to California Wheels with my receipt and AJ gave me some BS story about needing to see the bad tires

I had a great experience at this tire shop. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain my options without any pressure. Service was fast, prices were fair, and the work was done right the first time. I really appreciated how smooth and stress-free the whole process was. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this shop to anyone needing tire service.

I had one of my worst experiences ever dealing with this shop. I had them install a lift kit with long arms and shocks, alignment, etc. (around $12k), and they messed up the installation in so many ways that it is almost impossible to describe all the mistakes they did on the installation but here are some of the issues: Stripped bolts/nuts, missing the installation of critical lift kit parts, installed the suspension arms in the wrong positions, loose bolts and/or used the wrong size bolts, they bent some of the lift kit long-arm brackets. After they gave my vehicle back, the vehicle had a terrible noise coming from the driveline (which ended up being damaged), the frame had been bent due to these guys not installing critical parts included in the lift kit (crush plates), the lift springs were all bent and rubbing against the shocks, the aligment was completely off, etc., etc..To make the long story short, I had to take my vehicle to another real specialized shop which they fixed all the mistakes these unprofessional and untrained technicians at California Wheels performed, I had to spend a lot of hours dealing with the liftkit and shocks manufacturers getting replacement parts,
